Meet Tom

Thomas Telfer is a top Bay Area Realtor specializing in first time buyers, vacation homes, relocation, upsizers and downsizers.  He has a wealth of knowledge in real estate - every home has a story, and Tom’s experience in exploring the pros and cons of each property is invaluable. He makes the process a pleasurable and fulfilling process.

Thomas is married to his lovely wife Lani and lives in Martinez.  He has spent much of his life involved in business and charity.  He founded a media production company creating content for broadcast television, biotechnology, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. 

He’s been actively involved in charity, having served on the board of directors for Hospital Infantil, the only pediatric surgical facility in Northwest Mexico.  He has produced videos and served as consultant for the Promise2Kids Foundation, which aids foster children in Southern California.  And he has helped fundraise for Feeding America, assisting food insecure families in the United States.   

Thomas lived in Hawaii for 10 years, and co-founded lookintohawaii.com which was the largest Hawaii-based tourism and information website.  While in Hawaii, he also helped youth at Kapolei High School to find career paths that exist beyond the beaches of the island.

In addition to his love of photography, Thomas is an FAA certified unmanned aircraft pilot, and has shot aerial footage seen on the Travel Channel, CNN, and other media outlets. 

Thomas also enjoys making wine, and has barreled some outstanding Zinfandels.

He’s bought and sold homes over the past 25 years, and loves to remodel - most recently project managed a renovation for an A-list celebrity. He brings all of this life experience into the home buying journey.

Thomas is a Bay Area native, a graduate of De La Salle High School, UC San Diego, and holds a Masters Degree in Finance from National University.
